A2 MEDIA  PORTFOLIO

I had the opportunity to participate in my school's Christmas project which involved a lip syncing music video. For this, we had to produce a shooting schedule, editing plan, as well as contact all staff members of the school and schedule the appropriate times for each one of them for a successful and well-organised production. Overall this took us about three weeks to produce the video. The lyp sync was perhaps the most difficult part as well as planning the schooting schedule because of the amount of footage and participants we had in the music video production. 

 

First of all, what we made sure to do was to leave some time before and after the clips of each group singing because of tight timing schedules. Also, we made sure that everyone was actually singing and not just mouthing the words because it provides a more realistic lip sync.  Recalling the actual filming, the time was taken off of everyone's free time either after school or during lunch or other breaks. In the end, we received only excellent feedback from the students of the school who enjoyed the video which was made for comic relief.
